Stressed out mom?

The demands of life, of children, partners, social lives, extracurricular activities, and careers can leave us mothers feeling like we’re in a pressure cooker. Sometimes we lose our cool or explode and then feel mom guilt. Are we doing enough? Have I thought about everything?

It can be hard to take care of yourself when you’re holding the mental, emotional, and physical loads of motherhood.

Therapy can be your safe space to gain insight into your emotional triggers and learn ways to be more regulated and calm as a mom.

We all want to be our best selves for our children, but that can be hard to make a reality when we’re not taking care of ourselves. Therapy can help you do just that - it’s a powerful way to take care of yourself and give your SELF the time and energy you deserve.

Treatment for anxiety and stress parenthood mom

Be more regulated and calm

Therapy with Dr. Meghan Faith can help you shift the way you perceive and think about your stressors to decrease your emotional reactivity with your kids and partner.

Choose a therapist who can support you around the unique challenges of parenthood.

As a mother of two, I lean on my professional and personal experience to support other moms (parents) navigate the challenges of parenting through both practical (i.e., skill-building) and emotional support.

We may work on developing your mindfulness skills, or your ability to be in the present moment, in order to improve your sense of calm and emotional regulation and decrease emotional reactivity. If interested, we will improve your communication, discipline, and relationship building skills to improve your effectiveness with your children so you feel more in-control and less stress and overwhelmed.

My parenting guidance to you will be rooted in theory as well as clinical experience and training in the areas of: child therapy, family therapy, and Parent Management Training (PMT).
